[origin: US2002148490A1] A vehicle washing apparatus having a frame suspended from the ceiling and adapted for encircling a vehicle, the frame being capable of being raised and lowered with respect to the vehicle and provided with nozzles for ejecting fluid against the vehicle to clean the vehicle. A pair of overhead bars extend transversely of the vehicle and are supported for traveling longitudinally with respect to the vehicle, the overhead bars being provided with nozzles for ejecting fluid onto the top of the vehicle. The overhead bars are movable towards and away from one another to wash the entire top of the vehicle.
