[origin: EP1411311A1] The inlet port (10) for water to be heated and outlet port (11) of heated water are opened to header chamber (22) which is open to inlet (19) and outlet (20) of heat exchange plates having flow path for high thermal energy heat medium and the swimming pool water. A bypass system (16) has an obstruction (17) between inlet and outlet ports (10,11), so that more of water flows through heat exchange plates.
