Abstract (en)
In a process to de-burr the edges of a calibrated passage, and to adjust the cross sectional area of the passage to a calibrated dimension, the passage is exposed to a forced supply of an abrasive fluid. Before the abrasive fluid makes contact with the passage, the fluid is presented to the passage at the normal angle to the passage inlet.

Verfahren zum Bearbeiten, insbesondere Entgraten, Kalibrieren einschließlich Erweitern und Kantenabrunden, von Durchtrittsöffnungen (13) wie gebohrten Löchern in einer Wand eines kanalartigen Abschnitts (11) eines Gegenstands (12), bei welchem eine Flüssigkeit, insbesondere mit darin enthaltenen abrasiven Teilchen, unter Druck durch den kanalartigen Abschnitt und anschließend die Öffnung geleitet wird, wobei zur Vermeidung einer asymmetrischen Bearbeitung und einer Formänderung der Durchtrittsöffnung die Strömungsrichtung der Flüssigkeit vor dem Eintritt in die zu bearbeitende Durchtrittsöffnung so ausgerichtet wird, dass sie zumindest annähernd senkrecht zur Ebene der Eintrittsöffnung der Durchtrittsöffnung verläuft, sowie Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens. <IMAGE>
