Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1563955A1] The tensioning device includes a drive element in working connection with a rotating bearing-mounted turning axis (4) in a housing (2). The housing has two rotating bearing regions (6, 7) for the turning axis. The turning axis consists of a hollow shaft (8) and driven shaft (9) concentric with and fixed to it. The hollow shaft turn in the bearing regions. The drive shaft can move axially relative to the hollow shaft, but can be fixed on it.
