[origin: EP1564339A2] Molded part, especially a box- or pot-shaped molded part, with a front-side opening for arranging installation parts or electrotechnical components, especially a light, comprises a dimensionally stable housing (1) made of a non-flammable material, especially sheet metal, and having on its inner side a material (2) forming an insulating layer that inflates on the action of heat and/or fire and forms a carbon barrier layer. A layer (3) of mineral wool, especially rock wool, is arranged between the insulating layer and the housing wall. An independent claim is also included for a subceiling comprising a plate element (5, 6) having at least one opening covered by the above molded part.
