Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1564717A1] The woodworking machine to produce raw sheets (1), for the mouthpieces of woodwind instruments e.g. oboes, has a plane or shaver (6) mounted on a slide (7). The wood workpiece is held by a clamp (3). A feeler unit (5) is linked to the tool, to set its working depth in relation to the wood and its clamp. A number of master prototypes (4) are mounted on a drum (10), to be registered by the feeler as an index for the tool working. The slide has a drive for its movement parallel to the wood workpiece.
