Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1564773A1] The circuit breaker has four single-pole breaking units (2) each having a parallelepiped box with two lateral sides (44). An operating mechanism (17) controls an opening/closing of mobile and fixed contacts of the units, which are grouped on two superposed layers. Each unit has a connecting rod (13) coupled to a crank. The cranks of each layer are connected by an operating rod (20) and are actuated simultaneously by the mechanism.
