Abstract (en)
The fireproof glazing to prevent the passage of fire and smoke from one room into another consists of a number of glass surfaces located side by side. At least some of the glass surfaces (A-E) are formed by fireproof panels (1) fitted to each other in a profile-free manner and which in addition to their vertical joints (10) are also retained on their horizontal joints (11) by a sealing medium alone. At least one (C,D) of the glass surfaces is formed at least partially by a door or window frame (7) which by its edges is held exclusively by the adjoining fireproof panels.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brandschutzverglasung zur Vermeidung des Durchtritts von Feuer und Rauch im Brandfall von einem Raum in einen anderen mit einer aus Brandschutzscheiben bestehenden Glasfläche. Um eine Brandschutzverglasung zu schaffen, die auch bei größeren, die maximale Länge einer Brandschutzscheibe übersteigenden Höhe ohne die Verwendung von horizontal verlaufenden Halteprofilen auskommt, wird mit der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß die Glasfläche durch profilfrei unmittelbar aufeinandergesetzte Brandschutzscheiben, die aus einem Feuer und Hitze längere Zeit widerstehenden Material hergestellt sind, gebildet ist, wobei die Brandschutzscheiben an ihren horizontalen Stoßfugen allein durch ein Dichtungsmittel gehalten sind. <IMAGE>
