Die Erfindung betrifft eine Handfeuerwaffe, insbesondere Selbstladepistole, mit einem Griffstück (1), einem gegenüber dem Griffstück (1) in seiner Längsrichtung verschiebbaren Verschluss (2) und einer beidseitig betätigbaren Verschlussfangeinrichtung zur Halterung des Verschlusses (2) in einer Offenstellung. Die Verschlussfangeinrichtung weist einen als einteiliges Stanz-Biegeteil ausgeführten Verschlussfanghebel (3) mit zwei über einen Verbindungssteg (7) einstückig miteinander verbundenen Seitenteilen (5, 6) und jeweils daran einstückig angeformten Bedienteilen (16, 17) auf. <IMAGE>
