[origin: EP1566717A1] The device has reduction units for reducing dependency to a value of a resistor (R1) for a current circulating in a branch (31) of a proportional to absolute temperature current generator. The reduction units have a resistor (R4) of non adjustable value and act in a manner to increase or decrease the current circulating in the branch when resistivity of the resistor (R1) is higher or lower than a reference value respectively. An independent claim is also included for an electronic integrated circuit comprising a device for generating reference voltage.
