[origin: WO2004042160A1] The invention concerns a floor strip mounting component comprising a base plate (12) adapted to be fixed on a support structure (16), the base plate (12) having a lower surface (14) urged into contact with the support structure (16) and an opposite upper surface (18); and at least one anchoring means (32, 34) on the base plate upper surface co-operating with a longitudinal slot (26) in a lower surface (28) of a floor strip (30), the anchoring means (32, 34) being designed to maintain the floor strip (30) in the vertical direction after being inserted in the longitudinal slot (26).
