[origin: WO2004042872A1] The invention relates to a contact screw for the conductive cores of a screened cable, said contact screw being axially guided in a connection device by means of a screw thread. The inventive contact screw comprises a shaft (1) having a screw thread (3), and a contact tip (2), the section of said contact tip used to penetrate the cable insulation and the screen being provided with a coating (4) of insulating material. The outer surface of the coating (4) is provided with a screw thread (5) having a larger pitch than that of the screw thread (3) of the shaft (1).
