Abstract (en)

Apparatus for moving radioactive waste (11) from a storage vault (13) to a second suitable container (28) by means of a flowing fluid, a flexible tube (1) being inserted in the storage vault (13) is connected to a suction device capable of maintaining a negative pressure in the tube (11), the suction device being located outside the storage vault (13), where the tube (1) comprises a plurality of manoeuvring devices (7a, 7b) surrounding the circumference of the tube (1) and extending in the longitudinal direction of the tube (1). <??>A method of moving radioactive waste (11) from a storage vault (13) to another suitable container (28) by means of a flowing fluid is also described. <IMAGE>
