Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1569173A1] The process involves securely transmitting a set of predetermined image data from a stamping machine towards a label dispenser. A postal data calculated at the machine is securely transmitted towards the label dispenser and converted into complementary image data. Postal stamp integrating the complementary and predetermined image data is printed on a continuous band of labels delivered by the dispenser. An independent claim is also included for a mail stamping system having a stamping machine connected by a communication link to an external stamped label dispenser.
