The device has a molded body (3) that can fit in the auditory canal (2) of an ear, an earpiece (4) for supplying sound to the ear removably arranged in the molded body and a sound outlet (8) between the earpiece and the side of the molded body that faces the eardrum when the insert is in the canal. The sound outlet is formed in a capsule (5) and is funnel-shaped or has the shape of an exponential horn. A cover is attached to the side of the molded body facing away from the eardrum for closing an opening in the molded body in which the earpiece is inserted.

Aktive Otoplastiken (3) mit integriertem Hörer (4) sollen akustisch optimiert werden. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, in die Otoplastik nach akustischen Bedingungen einen Schallaustritt (8) einzuformen. Besitzt der Schallaustritt (8) die Form eines Exponentialhorns, so führt dies zu Vorteilen bei der Hochtonversorgung. Der Hörer (4) kann mit Hilfe eines Adapters (5) austauschbar in der Otoplastik (3) befestigt sein. <IMAGE>
