[origin: WO2004052266A1] A device (11) for fragrance generation can be achieved by means of an example embodiment of the invention, suitable for steam rooms. Steam is fed from a steam generator to a container (13) by means of a steam supply line (15). A housing (26) for aromatic supports (28) is arranged in the container which can be embodied as a sieve, for example. The hot steam (13) releases fragrance or aroma from the aroma support. A steam escape line (16) for the steam saturated with fragrance or aroma leads from the container out into the steam room. The container (13) can be sealed with a lid (30). A simple operation can be guaranteed by placing said device (11) in an accessible position of medium height in a steam room.
