[origin: WO2004055278A1] A swivel arm assembly for plumbing fixtures, e.g. a shower head, contains an attachment part (1) that can be mounted on a wall. A swivel bearing arrangement for a wall arm (10), which can swivel about a horizontal axis, is accommodated inside said attachment part. The swivel bearing arrangement contains a brake (12) for holding the position of the wall arm (10) and contains a free-wheel (6, 8, 14) in order to enable the wall arm (10) to be displaced upwards against the effect of its own weight without releasing the brake (12) from its braking position.
