[origin: WO2004051076A1] The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve (1) for fuel-injection systems of internal combustion engines. Said valve comprises an actuator (10) that can be excited and a valve needle (3) that co-operates with the actuator (10) and is impinged in a closing direction by a restoring spring (23). Said valve needle is designed to actuate a valve closing body (4), which together with a valve seat surface (6) that is configured on a valve seat body (5) forms a seal seat. The fuel-injection valve also comprises at least one injection orifice (7) that is configured in the valve seat body (5). A guide region (37), which is configured in the valve seat body (5) and in which the valve closing body (4) is guided, tapers conically in the flow direction of the fuel.
