[origin: EP1570828A2] The massage device (1) is assembled of a housing with a slightly convex upper surface (2), a drive shaft and an electric motor and can be accommodated in a water-filled basin. The massaging effect is created by a multitude of ball elements (M) distributed across the convex surface (2) and accommodated inside cages (K) with flanged upper edges. Each of the elements (M) is supported by an abutment from below and can rotate in any direction as moved by the drive and the feet of the user.
