The flow is set alternately between the first channel side and transverse channel on one side and between the second channel side and transverse channel on the other side. Independent claim describes device for machining component having a setting device for forming an alternating flow of the erosion fluid between the two channel sides (11, 12) and the transverse channel. A common pump device (20) supplies the erosion fluid to both channel sides and the setting device can be a 4/2 way valve.
