Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1570988A2] Device for adjusting the pressing pressure between an adjustable first roller (21) and a second roller (22) and/or for adjusting the first roller on the second roller in a printing machine comprises an actuator (34) impinged by a pressure which presses the first roller with an adjustable force in the direction of the second roller. The pressure of the pressure medium can be adjusted using a valve. A switching unit is provided by which the valve is connected to the actuator. An independent claim is also included for a process for adjusting the pressing pressure between an adjustable first roller and a second roller and/or for adjusting the first roller on the second roller in a printing machine. Preferred Features: Two valves are provided to adjust the pressure of actuator. The valves are connected to the actuator of the rollers by switching the switching unit. The valves are formed as flow regulating valves.
