[origin: EP1571099A2] The plastic cover for a container for transporting food has a peripheral edge (1) made from plastics and an inner lid (2) as a separator plastic component. The inner lid and -or the peripheral edge has a groove (3) adjacent to the joint surface (4) and extending parallel to it. The ridge receives a holder edge of an injection moulded tool.
