Abstract (en)
In a paper recovery process, a fibrous semi-liquid mass containing foreign bodies and clumps is advances through a pump housing with an inlet, a pump wheel and an outlet. The pump housing interior chamber incorporates a number of fixed baffles (7) separated from the pump wheel (4) by an interval (e) of 5-10 mm. The fiber cutting baffles are located radially around the pump wheel in the fluid out-flow zone (5).

Die Vorrichtung dient dazu, eine Papierstoffsuspension (S) zu pumpen und gleichzeitig zu entstippen. Dazu wird das Pumpenlaufrad (4) mit feststehenden Prallstücken (7) versehen, die sich in einem definierten Abstand (e) zum Pumpenlaufrad (4) befinden. <IMAGE>
