Abstract (en)
The method involves establishing a physical model (RTM) representing ejection of gas from cylinders and its movement from an exhaust circuit until it reaches a sensor. The model is coupled with an extended Kalman filter (KF) type non linear state observer, by taking into account measurement of fuel content provided by the sensor. A value of the fuel content at input of the exhaust circuit is deduced.

La présente invention concerne une méthode d'estimation de la richesse dans chacun des cylindres d'un moteur à combustion interne multi-cylindres comportant un circuit d'échappement sur lequel un capteur unique mesure la richesse du gaz d'échappement. L'estimateur comporte un modèle physique (RTM) représentant l'éjection des gaz des cylindres et leur parcours dans le circuit d'échappement jusqu'au capteur, ledit modèle étant couplé avec un observateur d'état non linéaire du type Filtre de Kalman Etendu (KF). <IMAGE>
