[origin: WO2004055145A1] Disclosed is a cleaner for hard surfaces, especially glass. The application of said cleaner containing a colloidal silica sol results in a modification of the streaming potential of the surface by -5 to -50 mV such that said cleaner can be used in a method for hydrophilizing hard surfaces by bringing said surface into contact with the inventive cleaner and for cleaning hard surfaces.
