[origin: WO2004059141A1] The invention relates to a control valve (1) for lubricating channels of motor vehicles. Said control valve (1) comprises a control element (3) which is associated with a control opening (2). The control element (3) is prestressed by means of a first upright part (4.1) in an end position (E) sealing the control opening (2) and by means of a second upright part (4.2) which is prestressed in an opposite manner thereto and which can be arranged in an open position (S). The pressure applied to the control element (3) by means of a lubricant via the control opening (2) acts thereon in a perpendicular manner in relation to the direction of displacement of the control element (3).
