[origin: EP1574295A2] The nailing gun (10), assembled of a handle (12) with a trigger (13), a housing (11) accommodating the mechanism (14), a nail magazine (19), and a shaft (15) surrounded by a sleeve (17), is fitted with a device (20) for keeping the auxiliary fixing element (40) temporarily in the appropriate position. The device (20) is of a conical shape and provided with four axial grooves (22, 23), each of them slightly different from the other ones, in order to be used for holding various kinds of elements (40) like a hook, a binder, or a clip. The grooves (22, 23) can be additionally fitted with magnetic elements (35).
