[origin: EP1574323A1] The grooving part (10), shaped as a ring segment, has an indentation (18) around its periphery and radial flexible side walls (19). The side walls of the indentation are round on their upper edge and made of plastic. The base of the indentation is made of a fixed core (12) and its side walls are formed by grooved lips (14) attached to the core, which bend in the direction indicated (31). The grooves are made in the object (1) when the grooving part is pushed against the tool (20) bending the lips apart.
