[origin: EP1574626A1] The hydraulic drive assembly (10), for agricultural machinery mounted on a tractor, is a passive spring system with a hydraulic cylinder (26) divided by a piston (29) into two chambers (28,30). The control (12) has an additional switch position, apart from the three workings to raise and lower the equipment and a neutral condition, to give a spring setting which links the supply line for the second cylinder chamber to the hydraulic tank (20) and, at the same time, breaks the connection between the first (22) and second cylinder supply lines and the pump (18).
