Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1574661A1] The method involves leading a rung (11) through openings of walls of rails (10) such that the rung protrudes out of the walls. A force-fit connection is achieved between the rung and one of the walls of the rail so that the rung is widened in area of the wall of the rail using a contour seal. The contour seal has a shape which corresponds to an inner cross section of the rung. An independent claim is also included for a ladder comprising a rail.
