[origin: EP1574782A2] The combustion chamber casing (12) has a double-wall structure in its peripheral wall (22) and/or base (12) regions, the inner and outer walls (30, 34; 32, 36) being separated by an intermediate space (42). An independent claim is also included for a vaporising burner with a combustion chamber casing containing inlet openings (38) for combustion air and at least some of these openings are surrounded by a lip (46) on the inner side of the casing for directing air into the chamber (14).
