Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1574801A2] The sinusoidal shape is formed with straight flanks (3) and sharp bends at the tips of the ridges and the bottoms of the troughs. The flanks of the sinusoidal shape are perforated to form slits. The metal is then bent to form an array of tongues or louvers (7) with channels (4) through which air can flow. The orientation of the louvers may be changed on the centerline of each strip.
