[origin: EP1574806A1] The hunting rifle has a functional unit (4) between the barrel and stock (3). This contains the trigger, lock etc. A connecting component (7) links the barrel and stock and the functional unit is fastened to it by spring-loaded mountings (8, 18) at either end.
