[origin: GB2395912A] A golf club carrying device comprises rigid frames 1 each having means 7 adapted to detachably hold golf club(s) 2. In use, frames 1 are spaced apart and the clubs are held by holding means 7 in order to form a substantially rigid structure with no fixed connector being provided between the frames. Frames 1 may comprise plates having club-shaft holding indentations, e.g. clips which grip the shaft. Each frame may have fourteen grips, may be formed of plastics material, and may have a strengthening peripheral lip (8, fig. 4). Means 4, 6 may be included for holding golf accessories, e.g. balls, tees, pencils, score cards, pitch repairers etc., and means may be included for attaching a bag and a strap 5. Umbrella holding means, and a cover (see fig 5), may also be provided. Each frame may have protruding parts 11, 12 in order to hold the clubs clear of the ground when the device is in use. The frames may alternatively be connected via detachable supports (not shown), e.g. support rods gripped by holding means provided in each frame.
