[origin: WO2004056561A1] The invention relates to a method for coating a component for painting, made from fibre-reinforced plastic, with a polymer, whereby electrically-conducting substances are added to a prepolymer which is extruded and applied to the substrate. The prepolymer undergoes initial cross-linking in a first step and is hardened in a second step by treatment with heat radiation and/or electromagnetic radiation.
