[origin: WO2004057072A1] The invention relates to a covering for drafting rollers of spinning machines, which consists of an outer and of an inner layer. The outer layer (1) is harder than the inner layer (2) and has a thinner wall than that of the inner layer, and the drafting roller is pressed as a pressure roller against a fluted steel cylinder (5). The outer layer loosely (6) surrounds the inner layer whereby enabling the outer layer to move relative to the inner layer.
