[origin: WO2004046547A1] The invention relates to a radial piston pump comprising a flange part and a housing part, a pumping element which is arranged in the housing part, and an eccentric drive shaft which actuates a piston that can be radially displaced in relation to the drive shaft in the pump element, seals a pumping volume in a displaceable manner, transports fuel out of a suction chamber into the pumping volume when said pumping volume enlarges, and, when the pumping volume diminishes, puts the fuel in the pumping volume under pressure and transports the same out of the pumping volume under high pressure. Said radial piston pump also comprises an inner chamber which receives the eccentricity, and a separating plane located between the housing part and the flange part and intersecting the inner chamber and the suction chamber. The inventive radial piston pump is characterised by a plane, single-component seal which is arranged in the separating plane and respectively seals the suction chamber, the environment of the radial piston pump, and the inner chamber, in relation to each other.
