The invention also relates to an input module (2) for an electronically controlled domestic appliance, in particular for an extractor hood (1), said module comprising at least one switching element (21). According to the invention, the input module (2) constitutes a separate unit of the domestic appliance (1) and comprises at least one contact device (24), which is used to bring the input module (2) into contact with at least one of several interfaces (62) that is provided in the domestic appliance to transmit signals between the input module (2) and said domestic appliance (1).
