[origin: EP1577259A1] The filling valve (1), to fill containers with a liquid through an outflow (2), has a liquid flow channel which can be closed and a gas lock. The gas lock (7) is a flow element (8) in the liquid flow channel (5), with its flow opening (11) formed by a number of dividing channels (9), working together along the flow direction.
