Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1577508A1] The device has a pressurized fluid supply (12) connected to a cylinder (11) by a supply pipe (13). A pressure relief valve (15) is connected to the cylinder (11) by an outlet channel (16), and to the supply (12) by a by-pass channel (17). The valve (15) limits pressure in the cylinder to maximum pressure. The channel (17) and a return spring (24) permit to adjust maximum pressure based on supply pressure following pressure law. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine including a restoring device.
