Clock, especially a wristwatch has a 12 hour display and an additional display element for indicating day and night information that is driven by an additional axle of the clockwork mechanism. This additional display element rotates in a clockwise direction with a half turn per twelve hours. It has markings that are concentric with the shaft (3) of the hour and minute hands. The markings can be in the form of semicircles with different optical appearance and or a day and night 24 hour scale.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Uhr, mit einem von einem Uhrwerk mit einer Umdrehung pro zwölf Stunden um eine Zeigerachse 3 drehbar antreibbaren Stundenzeiger 2 und mit einem Anzeigeelement zur Anzeige der Tag- und Nachtinformation, das um einer weitere Achse von dem Uhrwerk drehbar antreibbar ist. Das weitere Anzeigeelement ist in die gleiche Drehrichtung wie der Stundenzeiger 2 mit einer halben Umdrehung pro zwölf Stunden um die Zeigerachse 3 drehbar antreibbar und weist eine zur Zeigerachse 3 konzentrische ring- oder kreisförmige Markierung der Tag- und der Nachtstunden auf.
