[origin: WO2004048656A1] A device for producing a spun thread from a staple fiber assembly contains an air jet unit that is mounted downstream from a supply device for supplying the staple fiber assembly. The air jet unit is mounted on a support that, together with the air jet assembly, can pivot about a pivot pin away from the supply device. The support and the pivot pin are designed in such a manner that the support, together with the air jet unit, can be removed after a predetermined angle of pivot from the pivot pin in a manner that is transversal thereto.
