[origin: WO2004059070A1] The invention relates to a clothes-dryer (1) comprising a rotationally mounted washing drum (2) for receiving and displacing textiles (4), a process airduct (5) for feeding process air into the washing drum (2) and a process air heater (9) for heating at least the process air in the clothes-dryer (1). The clothes-dryer (1) comprises at least one processing unit (10, 15) for a liquid for generating mist or steam in order to remove odours from textiles (4) and the processing unit (10, 15) is connected to the process airduct (5). The invention also relates to a method for removing odours from textiles in a clothes-dryer (1) wherein (1) liquid is converted into steam, said steam flows through the textiles (4) which are disposed in the washing drum (2) of the clothes-dryer (1) and which are displaced therein. The steam is transported away from the washing drum (2) by means of the process air.
