[origin: EP1580344A2] Connector comprises a holding element (12) with material shapes (19, 20, 23) which interact with the inner wall (25) of an insertion profile (2) when placed on the profile. Preferred Features: The material shapes of the holding element interact with a corresponding guide of the insertion profile. The material shapes have a peripheral groove in the insertion direction. The guide is a protrusion interacting with the groove.
