[origin: EP1580398A1] The method involves lowering a tool (5) and guiding it with a telescopic rod with an outer rod in which at least one inner rod is movable accommodated. The tool is attached to the outer rod and is lowered with it. At least one inner rod is first lowered with the outer rod and then pulled out of the outer rod by a movably guided carriage element (20) on the mast (12).
