Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005041433A1] A receiver and receiving method for converting symbol data into a reception bit sequence efficiently with low computational complexity. A dispreading section (110) despreads the bandwidth of a reception signal. A synchronization detecting section (120) performs synchronization detection of the despread signal generated by the dispreading using a correction channel estimate outputted from an estimate correction section (170). A RAKE combining section (130) performs a RAKE combining of the synchronization-detected signal. A phase rotation section (140) applies phase rotation corresponding to a channelization code to the RAKE-combined signal. A QPSK demapping section (150) demodulates the signal outputted from the phase rotation section (140) and outputs a reception bit sequence. A channel estimation section (160) performs channel estimation by using the reception signal. An estimate correction section (170) applies (pi/4) phase rotation to the channel estimate outputted from the channel estimation section (160).
