Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004043821A1] The tamper-proof hinged closure is intended for film-sealed bottles and containers filled with pourable contents. It comprises a cap-shaped bottom part (1) with an internal thread (16) that, on its cap top (5), is closed up to a spout neck (4) having a diameter that is less than half that of the internal thread (16) of the cap top (5). A lid cap (2) is shaped onto said bottom part (1) via a hinge (3), and a sleeve (7) is shaped onto the inside of the lid cap and surrounds the spout neck (4) when the lid cap is closed. The cap top (5) of the bottom part (1) surrounds, external to the spout neck (4), a puncturing device (6) having a puncturing pin (24). The puncturing device (6) can be pressed from an upper initial position and into a lower final position while being elastically deformed. The lid cap (2) contains a press-button (8) for actuating the puncturing device (6). The press-button (8) is joined to the lid cap (2) via material bridges (9) that act as predetermined breaking points. When the closure is opened for the first time, the press-button (8) engages on the bottom part (1) and then serves to enable the puncturing device (6) to be pressed down during which the puncturing pin (24) opens the sealing film (27), whereupon the closure is ready for pouring.
