[origin: US2006080911A1] A mounting unit for a window or a door including a frame and a leaf mounted on the frame. The leaf is movable from a closed position by at least one curved guiding mechanism into a parallel knockout position and the leaf is pivotable from the parallel knockout position about a vertical axis into a rotary opening position. At least one upper horizontal guiding mechanism is provided on a top side of the leaf and at least one lower horizontal guiding mechanism is provided on a bottom side of the leaf to guide the leaf. In a closed position of the leaf, the at least one upper and the at least one lower horizontal guiding mechanisms are arranged inside the frame. The at least one upper and the at least one lower guiding mechanisms are each linked about the vertical axis to the frame and the leaf.
