[origin: WO2004053277A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for sealing openings in buildings. Said device comprises a frame (7), which can be adapted to the inner dimensions of the opening and a screening panel (4) that is connected in a fixed manner to the frame. At least one of the lateral faces of the frame that faces the opening in the building comprises an inflatable sealing element (8) preferably running around the periphery. According to the invention, the sealing element (8) is configured preferably as a flexible elastic sheath with an open cross-section and forms a closed chamber (6) with at least one section of the frame.
