Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1582315A1] The scissors have two branches (1, 2) with blades (4, 6) and handles (5, 7), respectively. The branches are joined together by an axle (3). A spring-loaded catch (8) acts in the direction of separation of the blades. The catch has an elastically deformable elongated unit (9) attached by its one end (10) to the axle. The end is rotatably connected to one of the branches and a free opposite end (11) of the unit supports the other branch.
